How do we make soap? 
We make our soap using the "Hot Process." The hot process (not melt and pour, or the cold process) because by adding heat to the raw batch we insure it has completely under gone its chemical conversion into a true soap. Unlike the cold process which may need weeks to cure, there is no sodium hydroxide remaining in the batch upon molding and no need to wait for the batch to cure. It makes a different and we feel better soap than the cold process or melt and pour soaps..

Payment:
We use PayPal as our shopping cart and secure financial transaction provider. They take all major credit cards as well as PayPal. It is free, easy and most of all secure.

No PayPal account is required or needed by the customer to use PayPal check out services.

Shipping:
We use the US Postal System for shipping. We ship Priority Mail 2 to 3 day service.
Sorry international customers, but we currently only sell and ship to those addresses within the United States and its territories.

Our current shipping rates are as follows:

If the total weight is:

Not more than 1 pound, shipping is......................................... $5.00
1 pound+ but not more than 2 pounds, shipping is .................$7.50
2 pounds but not more than 10 pounds, shipping is............. $10.00
10 pounds and up, shipping is ................................................$14.00

For reference:
A bar of soap weighs approximately 4 ounces or 0.25 pound;
A bottle of body wash or shampoo weighs approximately 10 ounces or 0.65 pound.

Shipping is automatically calculated at time of checkout, there is no handling charge.

Please be aware of the shipping charges. Order enough soap to make it practical. Don't order just one $4.00 bar and pay $5.00 in shipping. It would drive us nuts to do that. Please don't get us wrong, we will ship a one bar order, we just want the customer to be aware of the total cost. Make it worth while.

Sales Tax:
All orders by out of California customers shipping to addresses out of California are not charged sales tax.
Sales tax for California customers and orders shipping to California addresses are charged the going rate within my county of residence and is currently 8.375%.

Sales Tax is calculated automatically at time of checkout.

Turn Around:
We strive to ship your order within 2 business days. If it appears it will take longer then we will email you and let you know the anticipated date. What would be a cause for missing the target ship date?

Well, we are a small business and might be out of town for a few days when your order comes in or it may be out of stock and needs to be made.

Returns/Refunds:
Due to the nature of the product (a personal care item), once a product is shipped, We do not offer any returns or refunds. Please read the descriptions and check the ingredients closely prior to purchasing. It is a good product. We are sure you will feel the same.

Inventory:
We try to keep a well stocked inventory of each type of soap listed for sale. However, it may take a couple of extra days if we do not have the soap you wish in stock. If this is a concern, please email me prior to purchase.  We will try to email you if shipping the soap will be delayed.

The different scents are kept separated from each other in plastic lidded boxes to prevent scent degradation and cross contamination. Nothing worse than expecting lavender and getting a lavender soap that smells of tea tree (unless of course it's lavender tea tree you ordered).

Each bar is individually wrapped and labeled to ensure you receive a quality product.

We strive to keep the bars and batches very similar, however due to the homemade nature of the product, there may be minor differences between batches in appearance, color,  fragrance intensity, size and weight.
